3 years...and I can still laugh at myself-so, there's that!

So-apparently, I took a 3 year hiatus from writing this blog that feels like just 3 months. There has been a bit that has changed...and even more that remains the same. My aggravatingly adorable husband remains...aggravatingly adorable. The girl cat and I continue to grow-in girth alone-and off to my right, while I try to focus my thoughts and clever wit-my boys watch a cheesy movie with St.Patrick Day theme on Netflix (you can take the girl out of the elementary ed setting-but you can't take the elementary ed out of the girl!) Side Note: it's not a good movie...go rent 'Darby O'Gill and The Little People' and call it a day! Updates? My bucket list was to expose the boys to Willie Nelson LIVE...and I succeeded! My next post will have to be one where I share supportive advice to parents that buy tickets for the whole family to attend a live concert with the adorable belief that their children will acknowledge this as a life-changing event, and said kiddos are NOT AMUSED...unless there's popcorn-popcorn will salvage the scene! Willie Nelson = "why is he on so late, can we just listen to a song in the car?!" Zac Brown Band = "mmmm, can we go now?!" To this day, I cannot listen to Matisyahu's 'One Day' without recalling my youngest rocking and yelling that "this is too loud-it's not even MUSIC!!!" Good Times! In the 3 years since sitting down and releasing the Seinfeld-like observations that battle in my brain, I am reminded that this outlet has been a public but personal outlet to capture and preserve my kiddos growing, my mom brain struggling and my heart exploding. I've missed this...
