50 year old today-5 year old tomorrow

You are asleep little 5 year old-today you will wake up before 7...tomorrow, you will be a teenager waking up after noon! Well, it feels like time will go that quickly! I waited to write about you. You are so different from your brother-your little soul is so old. You have a kind and compassionate heart-you patiently pet the cats and share everything you have with everyone you know. You always offer Mommy the last bit of food, candy...anything! (I'd reflect on what this says about me but this blog is all about you sweetie-kins.)Your little eyes look out before you-behind your ever growing locks of hair-waiting and watching and taking it all in. You love to dance and read and you love to watch TV. Really, you do-cartoons, commercials, Gilmore Girls...did I mention how patient you are?! The truth is-I don't know where you came from but I just can't take credit for your goodness! I am so lucky to have you near me each day-when I grow up, I wanna be JUST like you! Although...today, my little reader-you sat in the backseat of the car (patiently traveling to Target with me...again) and giggled-"Mom, I think this says BUTT!" You're right, you little genius you, the word 'but' was written in that book. Maybe I do have a little longer with you as my little one-although, teenagers find the word "butt" hysterical too, don't they? I think we're going to have a lot of fun together, my little old man!
